I can't express how happy I am today. I found out that I matched with UNC as an infectious disease pharmacy resident!!! My excitement is two-fold--I'm going to a great program to train and i'm moving to a great city to start a new life with the love of my life. Seeing Aaron's face today and his excitement about the big move was priceless! I have to thank Tony Gente-- if it hadn't been for him this morning, I probably would have gone the whole morning without checking my email. So there is nothing like meeting Tony on the elevator and him waiting for a reaction from me about where I matched....and for once in my life I had no reaction. As soon as I knew the results were up, I rushed down to the SICU, checked my email and got the best email! I'm sure everyone in the SICU got a laugh as I jumped up for joy =) The stress is finally over! These last two weeks have been so stressful and I've been so blessed to have a great family & friends. North Carolina here we come...hope it can handle Da Big F.
